Dear Blog...

...I've neglected you, and I am sorry. I've been busy getting married, and while all that was going on, I didn't take the time out to let you know what I've been up to. I'm pleased to say that life has been pretty awesome - our wedding, which took place on Friday, was the most amazing day of our lives. The weather was kind to us and we unexpectedly had the venue for exclusive use - I felt a little smug when I saw the place being set up for two weddings on the day after ours - and was positively delirious when the freakish thunderstorms and giant hailstones landed a mere 24 hours after our photos had taken place. I do hope both couples had a wonderful day, despite the possibility of bumping into another bride in the loo, and the horrible weather. As for us - we couldn't have changed a single thing and had a better day, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to say that.

While I have a good 10 weeks worth of news to fill you in on, for now I'm afraid, my time is limited. Tomorrow, we depart for our honeymoon - two weeks of pure indulgence in Cuba. I can't wait - I'm immensely looking forward to a fortnight of doing nothing after the hectic run up to The Big Day.

So for today, I'm going to post a little something I forgot about until I spent some time going through some of my old Cracked posts - a graphic from a website that makes a picture from the most frequently used words from text of your choosing. After stumbling across its interpretation of my Cracked articles, I made one based on my Bridezilla feed. This is what I got (you can click on the images to see them in more detail):

Wordle: Bridezilla Comics

Pretty neat, huh.  As for my Cracked one:

Wordle: Cracked

Well, obviously the swear words stand out - they were kind of expected. What wasn't expected was how much I use the word 'fish'. I'm astounded by that one.

Here's a link to the Wordle site anyway - just in case you want to play with any of your own musings. You should do it - it's fun, and you might discover you also have a penchant for bad language and aquatic creatures.

And on that note, I must bid you a fond farewell and state for the record that I fully intend to be back up and blogging once we're back from Cuba and life has settled down to something resembling normal again. Until then, it's sun, cigars, rum and marriage for me. Bring it on!
